Tribe Tours were visits to different locations around the world by the cast of The Tribe to promote the series. They involved fan meetings and conventions, autograph sessions, music performances, photoshoots and appearances and interviews on television, radio and in magazines.
Over the five years The Tribe was broadcast, the cast went on six tours which grew in scope every year. From two-week visits to London in 1999 and 2000, to two tours in 2003 covering several cities in the United Kingdom and Germany, and visits to Norway, Denmark, Finland, The Netherlands, Spain and appearances at the Dragon Con in the United States.
Footage of the 2002, 2003 and 2003 Summer Tour was released on VHS and DVD and included on the series DVDs as special features.

- Dwayne Cameron (Bray), Beth Allen (Amber), Caleb Ross (Lex), Antonia Prebble (Trudy), Victoria Spence (Salene), Michael Wesley-Smith (Jack), Michelle Ang (Tai San), Meryl Cassie (Ebony) and Danny James (Zoot) are the only cast members from Series 1 to have been on tour. Although Ari Boyland (KC) and Vanessa Stacey (Alice) have appeared for a stage performance at Te Papa Museum, Wellington in 2001. [1]
- Laura Wilson (May) is the only cast member introduced in Series 2 to have been on tour. Although Jennyfer Jewell (Ellie) has appeared for a stage performance at Te Papa Museum, Wellington in 2001. [2] While Damon Andrews (The Guardian) has attended the Wellington Christmas Parade with several cast members in 2000. [3]
- No cast members introduced in Series 3 have ever been on tour. Although Bevin Linkhorn (Ned) and James Ordish (Andy) have attended the Wellington Christmas Parade with several cast members in 2000. [4] [5]
- Tom Hern (Ram) and James Napier (Jay) are the only cast members introduced in Series 4 to have been on tour.
- Matt Robinson (Slade) is the only cast member introduced in Series 5 who has been on tour.
- The 2003 European Tours have the largest amount of cast members.
- Caleb Ross (Lex) and Meryl Cassie (Ebony) have been on almost every tour.
- The 2003 tour features Beth Allen wearing a costume that is never seen in the show. Some fans have theorised it was Amber's costume meant for the cancelled Series 6, but this remains only speculation and is unlikely given that Series 6 never made it past the pre-production stage.
