The Farm is located outside the city and is owned by the Farm Girls. When the Mall Rats try to rebuild society, they would work closely with the Farm Girls to produce food to trade.
The Farm was seized during the reign of The Chosen and many were put to work as slaves there. All members of the Farm Girls were taken and vanished after this. After The Chosen's downfall, Alice and Ned briefly attempted to restart the Farm, but Ned was murdered before such plans could be put into action.
The place was abandoned during the reign of the Technos, but it was used as a temporary shelter for Lex and Siva when they ran away from the Technos. Jay and Ebony would also hide here temporarily when the Technos were hunting them.
History[]
Series 1[]
In preparation for Lex and Zandra's wedding, Lex, Dal, Jack and Bray go looking to trade for food. It is here we're introduced to Alice and her tribe, 'The Farm Girls'. After some bargaining, the Mall Rats were able to trade for food and left the Farm. [1]
Series 2[]
Alice and her sister, Ellie, join the Mall Rats and Dal realises he can start his dream of owning a working farm. Dal and some Mall Rats would work with the Farm Girls to produce food to trade. [2]
Dal was attacked by The Chosen at the Farm but managed to escape. [3] Alice also returns to the farm after she realises Lex isn't interested in her. An accident in the barn causes her to be trapped until Lex arrives to save the day. [4] Dal would repair the farm that was accidentally caused by Alice. [5]
Series 3[]
With the invasion and takeover by The Chosen, the farm is also seized and used as a place to put slaves to manual labor. [6] Once The Chosen are overthrown, Alice and Ned plan on making the farm a home and try to get it up and running again. When Ned is murdered, Alice buries him by the farm. [7]
Series 4[]
Lex takes Siva to the farm, now a dilapidated wreck, to stay. Siva however doesn't find the prospect of staying in the barn very appealing. [8]
When Jay and Ebony escape from the Technos, they hide at the Farm temporarily before running again. [9]
Trivia[]
- The Farm was started by Alice and Ellie's great great grandparents. This was mentioned by Alice in Series 3 Episode 42.
- During Series 5, Ruby helped city refugees at Liberty stay in a barn that was the same set used for Alice's farm. But it is unknown if they are supposed to be the same. It might be possible since Liberty was located far from the city along with the Farm. [10]
